Extended Support for CentOS 7 in RapidIdentity LTS On-Premise Appliances
Identity Automation has contracted OpenLogic by Perforce to provide extended support for CentOS 7, the operating system used in the RapidIdentity software appliance, for continued CentOS 7 bug fixes and security updates.
To simplify the distribution of OpenLogic’s CentOS 7 critical fixes and security updates, Identity Automation is developing a mirror of OpenLogic’s CentOS 7 package repository and updating the RapidIdentity appliance installation scripts and patch utility to reference that mirror instead of the defunct CentOS 7 public repositories.
These updates are expected to be available for customers in the third quarter of 2024.
