Dependent Technologies Toleration and Support Policy
Dependent technologies refers to third party products including underlying operating systems, integrated applications or software products that are provided within the RapidIdentity software appliance. Examples include but are not limited to, operating systems, runtime environments and database technologies.
Patches and other fixes related to dependent technologies will be limited to those provided by the third party or, in some instances, a separate maintenance provider contracted by Identity Automation. The RapidIdentity software application will tolerate and Identity Automation will support specific versions or releases of dependent technologies per the Identity Automation product supportability matrix. Toleration of and support for dependent technologies will continue through the planned RapidIdentity software appliance End-of-Support lifecycle.
New versions, releases, feature packs or other distributions of dependent technologies containing new functionality or non-essential maintenance will not be tolerated by the RapidIdentity software appliance or supported by Identity Automation until a specified Long Term Support (LTS) release.
While Identity Automation can not commit to or guarantee support for a specific distribution of dependent technologies containing new functionality or non-essential maintenance, we will maintain toleration of and support for at least one generally available distribution of dependent technologies per the 3rd party or contracted maintenance provider’s End-of-Support lifecycle at all times, assuring the continued supportability of at least one generally available RapidIdentity Long Term Support release at all times.
