Create a Duo Authentication Policy

Once the Duo authentication policy has been configured, set up a policy with Duo as the authentication method.Duo

1. From the Authentication Methods menu, choose Duo and select the preferred Duo Configuration from the provided dropdown box.
   
   • Note: Multiple Duo policies can be configured in order to provide different user groups with Duo authentication method options (mobile, email, etc. as preferred).
2. When users are assigned to this authentication policy, they will encounter a Duo menu after entering a username. If the Duo account is configured for enrollment, then the first time a user logs in they will need to set up their mobile application to associate with this method.
   
3. Subsequent logins will give users a choice of how they would like to receive their authorization request, depending on how Duo is configured.
