PhishID Communication Template

One component of the PhishID deployment involves the communications to your Staff, Teachers and Students.   To help with this below is a sample template that can be used to notify end users of the PhishID deployment.

In a continued effort to enhance the safety and security of all team members and students, the district is implementing a new phishing prevention tool called PhishID

Over 90% of school cybersecurity incidents start with phishing - making phishing prevention Education's first line of defense against account takeovers and ransomware attacks.  PhishID leverages an AI-Powered browser plug-in to stop phishing at the point-of-click.

What does this mean for me?

Normal day-to-day browsing will still be the same, but in the background, you will have PhishID on your side to protect you from malicious links and URLs that attempt to steal your credentials.  If you inadvertently navigate to an unsafe website, PhishID will present a block page like below:

What should I do if i receive a block page?

If you receive a block page, you can select the "Go Back" option.  You can be assured that your credentials are still safe!
