The Requests/Workflow module within RapidIdentity provides the capability for organizations to do the following:
- Provide a catalog of entitlements for governing access and authorization to applications, systems, or other resources
- Provide the ability to handle exceptional access or resource requests
- Present authorized users with an interface to make self-service requests, or requests on behalf of other users
- Present authorized users with an interface to approve or deny requests, transfer approval or denial, and monitor requests
- Present authorized users with an interface to view current, expired, in-progress, or failed requests and entitlements
The Requests module will appear in the main menu for any person authorized to access Requests. Administrators can adjust this authorization through the settings in the Configuration module or by using specific role-based access in conjunction with the Groups Module within RapidIdentity.
The Requests module within RapidIdentity is included in the purchase of a RapidIdentity Workflow license. Some customers will see this listed as RapidIdentity Governance based on previous product licensing names.
