# System Requirements

Ensure the system host meets or exceeds the minimum requirements listed below, as modified accordingly from [Microsoft](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-specifications) minimal requirements.

**Note:** RapidIdentity Client for Windows is for RapidIdentity Cloud only and is not meant for on-premise systems.

*Starting with v1.2.0, RapidIdentity Client for Windows supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. All subsequent versions will include support for Windows 11 and Windows 10.*

These are the basic requirements for installing Windows 10 on a PC. If your device does not meet these requirements, you may not have the great experience intended with Windows 10 and might want to consider other authentication options.

**System Requirements for Installing Windows 10**

| **Processor:** | 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster compatible processor or System on a Chip (SoC)RAM: 2 GB for 64-bit |

| **Hard drive size:** | 60GB or larger hard disk |
| **Graphics card:** | Compatible with DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.3 driver |
| **Display:** | 800x600 |
| **RapidIdentity Version** | 2021.7.27 or Later |
