User is routed back to Logon Tile even after entering correct Username

Issue: An Admin has installed the RI Windows Client but they are not able to successfully log in. After entering correct username just directed back to the logon tile.

Solution:

  1. Open RI portal with Admin User

  2. Go to Configuration section then go to Security > Service Identities

  3. Click Add Service Identity button and add service identity.

  4. Click Keys Link

  5. Click Add Key

  6. Enter Description and select Authentication API Consumer under ROLES

  7. Click Details Button

  8. Click on Show Secret Key
    image.png

  9. Copy Secret Key from copy button
    image.png

  10. Use this Secret Key during installation.
