Unable to Save Metadata

When attempting to add Vendor Metadata on a tenant that has Shield ID enabled, you may receive the following error message:

"There was an error saving the SAML Relying Party. The adapter operation is forbidden"

How to resolve:

The ShieldID Common Rule Set includes SizeRestrictions rules that limit the Query Strings and Body of requests sent to Tenants.  Depending upon the size of the metadata this may be triggered.

Adding your IP Address to the "allowed-ip-addresses” rule in ShieldID will allow you to upload the metadata.
