What's the Difference?
QR Codes are 2-dimensional digital representations of information that a user can display to the camera to log in at one of two levels of access. RapidIdentity provides two different types of QR Codes: Login and Username
Login QR Codes have both username and password credentials included, and need to be kept in a secure location for or with each user. These can easily be used by other people to authenticate as that user, so they should not be left unsupervised on a desk or table.
Username QR Codes only represent the username of the user, and when this is used, the user must still enter a password or a Pictograph combination. These can be kept in an insecure location, as the QR Code does not represent all of the credentials needed to authenticate that user.
