RapidIdentity LTS Software Appliance Support Policy
RapidIdentity LTS for on-premises implementation is delivered as a virtual appliance with a tightly controlled configuration to ensure that all components and technologies work properly in different environments. As a virtual appliance, RapidIdentity LTS customers are insulated from the inner workings and complexities of the RapidIdentity system’s components and underlying infrastructure technologies.
As part of the Identity Automation software development life cycle, quality assurance testing is performed against the RapidIdentity virtual appliance as a whole system. Identity Automation tests all RapidIdentity components running in unison on the infrastructure technologies within the virtual appliance. RapidIdentity components are not tested on alternative infrastructure technologies and Identity Automation technical support is most knowledgeable of supporting RapidIdentity as a whole system running on those technologies.
In order to ensure the highest quality of deliverable, Identity Automation does not allow LTS customers to make changes to the virtual appliance. Any changes to the virtual appliance outside of our software development life cycle invalidates Identity Automation’s ability to support the virtual appliance.
